Conversion Training
What is the Legal Requirement?
The employer must provide adequate information, instruction and training for employees, see The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. The Rider Operated Forklift Truck Approved Code of Practice 1999 requires training to be provided, this should encompass basic training, specific jobtraining and familiarisation training.
Course Objectives
This is suitable for persons who have been trained and certificated on one type of truck and require certification on another type, ie, Counterbalanced Forklift to Sideloader.
