First Aid (One Day)

What is the Legal Requirement?

Every employer must have at least one appointed person who can take control in an emergency, and to provide sufficient cover when First Aiders are on holiday, away due to sickness and lone workers, etc.
The employer must have sufficient first aid facilities available.

Course Objectives

(Suitable for Appointed Persons - Certificated, valid for three years)

This course is designed to give employees more extensive training. ie. Seizures, Asthma, Diabetes, Heart Attacks and Strokes.

Course Content

• Resuscitation
• Control of Bleeding
• Treatment for Shock
• Treatment of an Unconscious Patient
• Communication
• Contents of a First Aid Box and it's Use
• Treatment of the Effects of Specific Hazards Existing in the Workplace

Course duration: One Day

NOTE: This course can be carried out at our Wymondham Training Centre or at your company premises if required.
