Anyone responsible for overseeing fire safety, nominated Fire Wardens and anyone who needs to know how to operate a Fire Extinguisher.
Course Objectives
To gain an overall knowledge of the responsibilities held by a fire marshal.
During he course, the following elements will be covered:
- The elements of fire
- Fire prevention
- Common causes of fire
- Fire safety precautions
- Fire drills and evacuations
- Practical demonstration
- Current colour coding of extinguishers
- Role of fire warden
- Record keeping
- Current legislation, your responsibilities
- Participants will use and have access to fire extinguishers
