What is the Legal Requirement?
The employer must provide adequate information, instruction and training for employees, see The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. The Rider Operated Forklift Truck Approved Code of Practice 1999 requires training to be provided, this should encompass basic training, specific jobtraining and familiarisation training.
Course Objectives
This course is suitable for delegates to instruct in-house training courses for the lift truck which they are competent in using.
Duration
5 day course (2nd week days 6-10 of course)
This course is accredited by ITSSAR.
NB Instructors have photocards with 5 year expiry date on them.
