Who would benefit from the course?

All persons whose Health and Safety is exposed by having to work at heights.

Course Objectives

To Provide delegates with sufficient information for them to understand the hazards associated with working at heights and to have effective safe systems of work in place.

During the course, the followinf elements will be covered:

• Working at Heights Regulations and relevant legislation
• See a training video and complete a test paper
• The course will be tailored to their particular needs, i.e. ladder safety, mobile elevating platforms, tower scaffold and use of harnesses
• Practical Training
• Use of Personal Protective Equipment
• Safe Systems of work
• Selecting the right equipment
• Obligatoins of Employers and Employees
• Risk assessment
• Participants will carry out practical work relevant to equipment being used on the course

Duration

Half day / One day including MEWP's

Location

This course can be carried out at your site for up to 8 Delegates per session or at our premises.
